This painting is compositionally divided into two sections. The larger top part of the painting depicts the close-up view of a woman wearing sunglasses. Pictured in the reflection of her shades is the view across a field onto the ocean in the distance. The lower portion of the painting depicts the view of a road receding into the distance. Two houses are seen to the right as a tall fence runs parallel to the road. The setting sun casts a warm crimson glow across the landscape.
