This painting depicts the view of a wide sandy beach on a crisp summer’s day, looking out at the dark blue/green ocean under a deep blue sky with a few little puffball clouds. The crescent shoreline strestches across the very wide painting, and just a few steps from the water stands a solitary female in a blue bathing suit lifting her arms to pull a white shirt over her head. The water is calm with gentle waves rolling onto the shore. There are two striped towels thrown on the sand in the foreground... one pink, the other blue stripes on white.
