This painting depicts the view of a small island airport with a rural street at sundown, cut by horizontal lines of shadow. A brightly lit pasture rests on one side of the street, while a white building is embraced in silhouettes of the foliage on the other. Telephone poles stretch into the sky and the lines vanish into the background where a row of clouds hovers over a strip of ocean.
