This paining depicts a sidewalk nuzzled in the shadows of surrounding trees. The setting sun casts vivid shadows across the foreground of the image. The walkway swoops across the panoramic painting leading to a forest in the background. To the left is the view of the setting sun across the bay, where faint traces of an approaching ferry can be seen on the horizon.
