The is the view out of one window through a second window (in a shadowy blue-grey stair landing) to a sun-dappled green lawn enshrouded by trees, giving onto a small harbor with placid water in pale cyan with a blue-green motorboat at a dock, and then a far horizon to the bright blue-green ocean under a sunny summer sky. The first impression is of the lattice grid of bright white window mullions in the foreground against the blue-grey grid of mullions in the second window, playing with the verticals and horizontals in the shadowy interior and the vertical tree trunks beyod.
