This painting depicts a the head and shoulders of a deeply-suntanned man against a background of intensely blue seascape and green shoreline on a sunny summer day. His dark glasses are of a color similar to his suntan and he's wearing a pale putty green/grey cap amd t-shirt that counterpoints the deep mahogany colors of his face.
