For those of you with low vision:
This painting depicts the quarter profile of a young woman in oranges and yellows gazing into the distance, in front of a grassy lawn and pale cobalt violet roadway and sandy sidewalk with a fully-leafed tree, agasinst a yellow ochre treeline, all sharply carved by deep green and cobalt blue shadows of a late afternoon sun, and cutting into this image another imgae of a set of windows in the deep shadows, and out those windows we see a bright sunlit sliver of ocean with landscape and trees.. Reminiscent of a double exposed photograph, the view through the windows has the sense of being part of the ground plane of the larger composition.
