For those of you with low vision:
In overlapping views reminiscent of a double-exposed photograph, this painting shows a casement window half-open in a blue-shadowed interior, roughly framed like a shed or cabin, with some shelves dimly visible to one side. Sunlight glares on the window planes with green foliage barely visible beyond... all of this merging into the scene of a dock in shadow looking out on (and framing) a lineup of fishing boats at dock with their reflections dazzling on the water between us. The colors are understated with some grassy hillside fading into shadow in the background, the boats in white with some hulls in pale greys, and bright touches of sienna orange and yellow at their waterlines
