In overlapping view, reminiscent of a double exposed photograph, this painting depicts multiple intersecting perspectives. The painting depicts the interior view of a young boy sleeping in his bed. Behind his pillow, is a large window with the view of a white picket fence and a large tree in the backyard in the morning light. Painted in the shadows of the interior in overlapping view, is the texture of fir trees with the view of a snow-capped mountain on the horizon.
