This is the small study for a large painting/assemblage. It is a composition of three attached panels; one above a second one, with another to the right of them that's a vertical rectangle as tall as the two. Top left is an image of a baseball game drenched in red, from behind home plate as the batter swings. Below is the silhouette of a map of El Salvador and Nicaragua in pale cyan blues with an open baseball glove stuck on it, grasping a grenade as it would a baseball, the grenade a dirty dark grey against a blood-spattered leather glove.
To the right, the tall rectangular panel looks to be the chain link door of a locker with assault rifles behind it, in the same dirty greys as before.
