For those of you with low vision:
In overlapping view, reminiscent of a double exposed photograph, this painting depicts multiple intersecting perspectives. The bottom portion of the painting displays a credenza with a white table runner, on which a frame with the picture of a man, two small bunny figurines, and a small plate are placed. Behind the furniture is a tall window with curtains and blinds looking out onto the ocean in the distance. Layered overtop, running horizontally through the composition is a thin strip depicting a fisheye panoramic view of a screened in porch looking out onto a grassy field leading to the seaside. A rope dangles at the top of the composition, casting a shadow, while a window with the ocean view and the silhouette of a mermaid are layered overtop. Embedded in the paint are the faint traces of nautical charts of the surrounding waters.
