For those of you with low vision:
In overlapping view, reminiscent of a double exposed photograph, this painting depicts multiple intersecting perspectives. The evening view of figures walking across a sandy beach as the tide rises is seen at the bottom of the painting. The dark nighttime sky continues to fill the rest of the compositions. Layered overtop is the view of a window looking down onto a grassy yard surrounded by a white picket fence. The corner of a neighboring house is visible.
