This painting depicts the side of a white beach house on a summer's day. The wooden porch railings, stairs and other architectural elements are emphasized, creating a sense of geometric abstraction. The painting is painted as if it has been spliced in areas and rearranged slightly askew, creating jolts in the perspective. The view of the grassy beach and seaside is visible in the distance.
