For those of you with low vision:
This painting depicts the view from behind the shoulder of a person wearing a stripped white and green shirt. A woman with long blond hair is seen sitting in their view, with her right elbow perched on her knee and her left raising a wine glass to her lips. The right third of the composition is sectioned into thin stripes or ocher and white, with a text written overtop, reminiscent of the lined page of a diary.
The text reads:
I’d like to find a way to say what I’ve been dying to say without sounding trite or weird or stupid or like a TV commercial or the way I say it to mom or the way Ron says it to Nancy or everyone says it to everyone?
