For those of you with low vision:
In overlapping view, reminiscent of a double exposed photograph, this panoramic painting depicts multiple intersecting perspectives. The bottom portion of the painting depicts the view of a gravel country road on a level field extending into the horizon. A shed stands to the left side of the road. The blue of the sky reaches across the composition and serves as a transition to the upper portion of the painting, which depicts two young girls passing a large beach ball on a sandy shore. Two layered views are shown of the children, one depicting the girl playing at a distance, while the other depicts the ball breaching the picture plane, while the young girl moves towards the viewer as she chases after it.
