This panoramic painting depicts a figure lying on a bed in a very small, cabin-like room with a seashore twilight visible out three windows (four, counting a relection in the mirror). The warm brown of the wood in the amber light from a lampshade on the left and the lilac light in the window curtains counterpoint the cyan of the sky outside and the dark blue of the towel that she's wrapped herself in.
