This painting depicts the view of a small island airport at sundown, with a rural street running straight back from the foreground through a green grass pasture on the left in shadow cut by bright yellow/orange and green horizontal lines of sunlight on grasses. Two green/umber trees stand in partial shadow on the left side of the street lit from the right. in amber light. while a white building is on the other, sharp against the bright blue sky over a dark blue strip of ocean, enshrouded by a third grren tree hard against the right edge of the painting.
