For those of you with low vision:
This painting depicts a row of small fountains capturing the cyan light of a setting sun, lined up along a long white building in the shadows of dark trees, with a sunset sky in pinks and dark blues. This is the water filtration plant on Fishers Island. When in the past the fountains were running on a regular schedule, there was a game as you approached, right before you drove around the curve, to cry out "on" or "off" and win a dusty miller if you were right.
