For those of you with low vision:
This painting is a graphic composition of rectangles and lines: three images seen through, or reflected in some windows with mullions. The windows are set in a wall bathed in bright amber light with a shadow cutting softly across, halfway down the wall, and the faint shadows of mullions. We see through these amber-lit windows a screened patio with a table and chairs, vaguely softened by the refraction of the window glass, in a pale blue/green/grey palette. Superimposed on this, reflected in the window glass: the view behind us out another set of windows onto a bright landscape of trees in mottled yellows and greens with faint mountains at the horizon. This landscape is framed by a pale violet shadowed column beneath a porch roof and a cylindrical brown bird feeder hanging on the right. This view is silhouetted in the pale blue/green/grey by window mullions, a tall curved sink faucet, and the silhouette of a woman tilting her head over the sink.
