In overlapping view, reminiscent of a double-exposed photograph, this painting depicts multiple intersecting perspectives. The top portion of the painting depicts several arrays of stripes that seem to describe a brightly lit screen porch and/ or a slatted pergola in pale peach and violet against stronger cyans, greens and deep blues. The arrays of light bend into shadows as they transition to the bottom portion of the painting, as they are strewn across a red building with a green door, and a large window with the view onto the ocean.
